Pricing & Quotes
How much does a home shift cost in Guwahati?
Costs vary by home size, distance, and services. A 1BHK within Guwahati typically starts at ₹3,000–₹6,000. We provide a fixed, transparent quote after a free survey — no hidden charges.
Is there a survey fee?
No. Pre-move surveys — video or in-person — are completely free. You only pay when you confirm the move.
What does the quote include?
Our quote includes packing materials, labour, loading, transport, unloading, and basic unpacking. Additional services like wooden crating, AC dismantling, or storage are itemised separately.
Do you charge extra for stairs or high floors?
A floor surcharge may apply for buildings without lifts above the 4th floor. This is declared upfront in your quote.
Packing & Safety
What packing materials do you use?
We use bubble wrap, corrugated sheets, foam padding, stretch film, and wooden crating for fragile or antique items. All cartons are labelled by room and content.
Do you pack TVs, washing machines, and refrigerators?
Yes. Electronics and appliances are packed in custom foam inlays and the original box where available. We also disconnect and reconnect appliances.
Can I pack my own items and hire just transport?
Yes. We offer loading-only and transport-only services. However, self-packed items are excluded from our packing damage warranty.
What items do you not move?
We do not transport hazardous materials, explosives, perishable food, or live animals. Jewellery and cash should be transported personally.
Insurance & Liability
Are my goods insured during the move?
Yes. Every move includes basic transit insurance. Enhanced all-risk insurance is available at an additional premium — recommended for high-value items.
What happens if something is damaged?
Report damage within 24 hours of delivery. We assess the claim and settle per the insurance policy. Our pre-move inventory list is used as reference.
What is your liability for self-packed items?
We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer. Always let our crew handle packing to keep the warranty intact.
Tracking & Delivery
Can I track my goods during transit?
Yes. Every vehicle is GPS-enabled and you receive a live tracking link on WhatsApp at the time of dispatch.
What if my goods are delayed?
We commit to a delivery window at the time of booking. In case of unforeseen delays (weather, road closures), we notify you immediately.
Will the same crew handle pickup and delivery?
For local moves, yes. For long-distance moves, our own fleet carries your goods to a regional hub where our destination crew takes over.
Storage
What is the minimum storage duration?
We accept storage from 7 days onwards. Monthly plans offer the best rates.
Can I access my stored goods?
Yes, with 24-hour advance notice. We arrange a supervised access slot at our Guwahati warehouse.
Are stored goods insured?
Yes. All goods in our warehouse are covered under our storage insurance policy.
